Future moms? public utility friendly places
2010-01-27
The year 2010 is dedicated to the campaign: “ Being pregnant means special care” launched in April, 2009.
The main goal of this movement is to implement the demands and postulates voiced by Moms-to-be and to shape social attitudes. We particularly wish to emphasize the needs of ladies who are expecting their babies.
Once we launched the campaign “ Being pregnant means special care”, we decided to organize the nationwide plebiscite aiming to find the places and spots that are friendly for future moms.
The plebiscite comprised two stages. In the first stage of the campaign, cybernauts and the readers of Polska The Times reported the spaces, that they believe, are friendly for future moms. The second stage involved voting procedure. Both, the cybernauts and the experts cast their votes for places that seemed to be the friendliest ones. The results were announced in December, 2009. Places that are friendly for future moms and the spots that meet all the expectations of pregnant women were honoured.
The winners were awarded the title: “ Mom-to-be friendly place” (public offices, establishments, and agencies); they are also entitled to use the campaign sticker.
